Longview Steakhouse is by far the best meal I have ever had. The food is amazing, the owner is a very friendly individual, and his staff make you feel like family. The price of the meal is 100% worth it. Do yourself a favor and go to Longview. 2020 Edit: Longview steakhouse still stands out as a fantastic place to enjoy a high quality meal! We went for our anniversary and couldn't ask for a better meal, the service staff were fantastic as always, the steals were done perfectly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Beautiful people and food! What a gorgeous setting to enjoy a divine meal - no wonder it takes months' to get in for a weekend! Luckily, it's just as lovely and delicious on a Thursday too! Finally got to try this restaurant out and it did not disappoint! I had heard nothing but amazing things about the food and service here, and I was not disappointed. The service was incredible creating a relaxed homey feeling, and the setting is nothing short of breathtaking. We started things off with a Caesar salad which was absolutely perfect, served with a delicious garlic croustini. Of course you come here for the steak, and that was the main feature of the evening. My father had the peppered steak, and I had the filet mignon, both were cooked to perfection. The quality of the meat itself was incredible, and the way it was prepared and served was just too good to describe. The bearnaise sauce paired with the red wine gravy and steak to create a true flavour experience. The dessert was on par with the rest of the meal, I had a chocolate mousse cake, which was a lovely finisher to a perfect meal. I will be coming back here for a very long time, thank you so much for the fabulous meal!!

You cannot go wrong with this family run establishment. Our server (the son of the owners) is incredibly witty and quite entertaining.They have old school charm in terms of bringing a large white board around with their specials. I've come a couple of times, naturally I've only had the steak and it is on point. My mother in law ordered a fish dish and it was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, I really don't think you can go wrong here.
