Zennkai Salon

I have gone to this salon several times and it’s my favourite service I’ve ever used for my hair. Helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Great variety of products, and they really listen to what you want. I’ve gotten awesome colour from Brae a few times, people always comment on how long the black stays, and I’ve always gotten pieces of colour and those look great as well. She was also great about knowing about different hair textures, and the right products for them, which has helped me a lot! I definitely don’t think I will be going anywhere else from now on.

Super kind but was a little too quick. Had to remove several small hairs from the sides that weren't caught by the clipper and the clipping work wasn't particularly even, unfortunately. Was difficult to see from the chair, but easy to see in the mirror when I got back home. Salon was empty when I arrived and nobody was waiting after me, so maybe it was just a bad day.

Brae was super nice and seems lovely however the haircut I received was just okay and I felt like the whole time it was just trying to get me out of the chair as quickly as possible get paid and get out. Just playing the waiting game now for my hair grow out so I can get someone else to fix it. Based on the other reviews maybe it was just an off day when I went in, but I can't say that I'd return nor recommend the salon to others. Update after response below: The day of my appointment I arrived 15 min early, was sat straight away and there was no one else in the salon from the time I arrived to the time I left, I highly doubt being busy or in a rush had anything to do with the conditions experienced during my visit. Appreciate the concern though. I still don't plan to return to this salon for future hair care.

I tried this salon with my mother after they generously supported our Camosun College event fundraiser. Brae made us both look beautiful and I love my new haircut. Will be going here again!

I have been going here for the last 20 months, couldn't recommend it more. Brae has helped me in so many ways to achieve my goals.
