Helmcken Road Park & Ride

Excellent place to park your car and hop on a bus. Also great place to park and wait to pick up friends getting off the bus.

Use full good Last 3 days snow time many people slip

Last possible parking spot was verrrry tight, but this park and ride is obviously being used!

Used to be good place to park but often frustrated by certain users who abuse the services (illegal parking by blocking other parked stalls, double parking vehicles, non-BC transit riders abusing the use of the lot). Downgraded the rating from 4 stars to 1 because my car got broken into in September 2019 and no one decided to take ownership of the frequent vandalism on the lot. I contacted BC Transit and they referred me to Township of View Royal (see poor review I left for them) and they referred me to BC Ministry of Transportation and Highways and the person I spoke to was a joke and insisted the area is at owner's risk which of course no signage states this. RCMP said there isn't any they can do despite the increased crime. You're better off taking your bicycle on a bus than to leave your vehicle here.
