Thetis Lake Regional Park - Main Parking Lot

Awesome place. I like the no-cost parking during winter months. I would suggest to extend it to every month!

It's a parking lot. There are sometimes more cars than other times.

I LOVE this place for walking my dog, however if you're someone that likes to just keep walking this probably isn't the place for you as I get stopped quite a bit to chat. Aside from that the scenery is gorgeous, upper thetis is a great little jaunt and beginning hikers should have no issue completely the trail.

My favourite lake in Victoria for swimming. The main beach is ideal if you have kids. Also great for laying out in the sun. The parking meter changed this year, though (2019) and you have to include your licences plate, which is then printed on your ticket, so be aware.
