Jane's Tea Garden/ Canada Post Garden City Office

I didn’t believe some of the reviews I read. Until I experienced it myself. I mailed 5 letters to different locations both domestic and international. The total wasn’t much so I didn’t pay much attention. Afterwards I just wanted to double check the rates and discovered she charged me 2 local stamps instead of one stamp for the US. Less than $1 extra I had to pay. The thing is she never said anything about this. Very dishonest and unprofessional.

Tried calling numerous times about a parcel. Never did anyone pick up. Also, since post offices close on weekends this places closes too early since most people normally work weekdays.

Unprofessional and careless. My shipment was put sidewards while the clear signs on all sides read 'Fragile' and "This Side Up'', which was basically the flat side. And it was pushed to me using feet, after dragging it on the floor from the back, that too sidewards, blatantly disregarding all the warning signs on the box. It was a 9 Kg box, and I would've picked it myself had I been asked, but seeing sensitive shipment being pushed on the floor, that too sideways, was disappointing to say the least. I am not yet sure if the shipment is intact or fully functional. How can you ignore the warning signs and messages on the boxes in this business?

Poor service. Never open when they say they will be open. Should not be allowed to be a Canada Post outlet.

Not reliable. I run my own business, and there have been times when there were delays in the shipment of my packages after I drop them off, and they are processed at this post office. I know this because I track them afterwards. This upsets me because I pay for my own labels at home, and expect my customers to recieve their packages in a timely manner. There is no reason my package should still be sitting in Richmond 4-5 days after I have initially dropped it off to be mailed. This affects my customers and my business negetively. Moving forward, I will only mail things at this PO as a last resort, sadly.
