Words cannot express how amazing this vet is. My dog savannah was extremely sick and they did everything in their power to help me knowing money was extremely tight, but my dogs are my daughters. When nobody else would help me, they were there, and they truly cared about my dog. They went above and beyond in performing her procedure and where other vets were going to charge me more than double, they did their absolute best to not and they worked with me to make it work while easing my fears. Knowing my situation they did absolutely everything in their power to save my dogs life, and because of them she came out of it perfect. I will never go anywhere else. I have two dogs and two cats and this is the only place I trust for them.

Ive been going to this place for 5 years now with my rats. They have seen nearly every of the 10 boys I have and had through the years. I have absolutely no complaints, I won't be going anywhere else as long as Dr. Wilkening is there. It was probably the worst news I could have received but In the best possible way and he offered solutions and ideas right away. He had a plan, was comforting and answered every question I had with great detail. Everyone you come in contact with are total sweethearts and genuinely care about you and your pets, they're also doing a FANTASTIC job with covid protocols ensuring everything is safe. A wonderful clinic full of wonderful people. Keep up the great work, thank you for being kind souls.

Disorganized, and unprofessional. Went in and was treated poorly and continuously belittled and mishandled the situation. Please check in with your employees and maybe take a class on being respectful of customers feelings. Had no compassion for the us. For it being my first time personally i will not being bringing my animals here anything in the future. Definitely not worth your time.

Dr. Eric Wilkening and his assistant were super helpful in seeing and treating my kitty's so very quickly when he swallowed a large amount of exercise rubber band tubing. We're especially grateful for their prompt attention during this challenging time with COVID. Many thanks to him and everyone at McKenzie Veterinary Services who are still there to help our precious pets in need. That all being said, Harry is now back to his usual self!

My experience with this clinic over many years left me with the impression that it is unnecessarily expensive with poor diagnostic capabilities and morally grey disclosure policies. When I first started going to this vet with my late cat due to an emergency medical event (he had to have half of his tail amputated), the service was great. I had a vet that believed in alternative medicine and she would call just to check in on us. Somewhere along the way, she left, it declined and I cannot stress enough how terrible the advice I got was, and how much I paid for it in both tears and money. My cat ended up going blind because no one checked his blood pressure during several exams I took him for when I noticed some changes in his peripheral vision. Isn't that supposed to be basic? But they sure ran every other test they could think to bill me for, until high blood pressure permanently detached his retinas. Then they charged me $75 or something to check it after that. When he was diagnosed with kidney issues a few years later and had to stay overnight for an IV treatment, the bedside manner of one of the male vets was horrifying. He was very cold and clinical, and referenced a heart murmur diagnosis recorded on my cat's chart a year or two before, which I had never been informed of. I feel like this place kept me in the dark about Sid's actual decline in health. I can't decide if it was meant to spare my feelings or cost me more money. The last time I took him in, I paid $400 for an appointment where they told me he had about a month or two to live. He died that night. It took me nearly 4 years to get over Sid and that whole experience, but I finally adopted a kitten last month. When I called around for a vaccination quote, it was almost double the other clinics I checked with. I will not be going back to this clinic again, and wouldn't recommend it for cat owners. I've heard it's better for dogs.
