Newton Recreation Centre

Absolutely unacceptable . Who do they think they are with the front office to the Newton Recreational Center, problems. Its Covid Pandemic I am looking to swim. I want to swim. I believe they should have facility open by now. Chlorine is a well known product to kill Covid. I am not happy. Pikachu muffin raisin platypus dog shell this is the type of standards you expect from the canadian government making video games and using the internet a good thing. Holy Cheese Popper Good Night

Their staff was very friendly and helpful. Also very good COVID-19 safety measures.

I recently brought my kids here to swim and they thought the waves were great. It was pretty clean and the staff were great. Definitely, lock your belongings in the lockers on the pool deck, as there is a lot of theft here - one person had their locker broken into while we were there, resulting in their car also being stolen. My kids really enjoyed the water slides and play features.

Went for a family swim. Crack heads in the parking lot. Went inside and 90% of the lockers have been pryed open and unusable. Very nervous leaving stuff in a locker there. In the pool they have a had mold problem. Black mold in between all the tiles. Change room after was very dirty! Hair everywhere. Came out to the parking lot to see some drug junkie tweaking out and going through all of his stolen stuff right outside the entrance. Not a pleasant thing to explain to my young kids. This place is just ghetto!!!

I am absolutely frustrated with this facility. I just waited on hold for 10 minutes trying to get through to these guys. It doesn't make sense. Every time we go there, there are at least 2-3 people sitting at the front desk, not doing much. Having a customer on hold for 10 minutes is unacceptable. The aquatic schedule posted online is so unclear and extremely limited, especially compared to all other facilities in the area. I simply want to know when I can bring my child in to swim. Why are the hours listed so little. And why does this facility prioritize "nude swim" over children's/families' swimming times. Every other pool in the area is open for public swim from morning until night. This is just sad.
