Taneda Karate Dojo

As Both a Parent and a Student, Taneda Dojo is an amazing place not just for training in Karate but also for the great community. I’ve seen training here greatly impact kid’s confidence levels and how much respect they have for the Dojo and each other. As someone that started training at 50, I am able to get a great workout, have a lot of fun and also compete if I want to. Excellent Dojo!

Taneda Dojo has a positive influence on my family since 1997. I watched by son gain confidence and is a better person as a result of the 10 years he spent under Sensei's instruction. I joined and have never looked back. I like that I have been pushed out of my comfort zone and challenged in many ways. I love watching the changes that occur in the kids classes. The great people I train with are my Dojo family

In an modern society where role models are now found in popular TV its refreshing to find a group that focuses on, and places value in, respect, personal conduct, accountability, and responsibility to self and others. There's far more to this dojo than just self defense, and getting into shape, typical to what most people think of when karate is the subject at hand. "Getting into shape" should include the whole person, not just the gut and gun show. 9 1/2

Sensei Taneda and the Senpais teach a positive balance of tradition, hard work, discipline, and fun. Students learn to be self confident, supportive and strong. The Taneda Karate Dojo is not only a team, it is a family.

Taneda Karate Dojo is an excellent place of learning, discipline and fun. Sensei Taneda is an exceptional instructor, his experience and knowledge is second to none. All the Senpais encourage you to do your best and are always there when you need help. I highly recommend this dojo for young and old, to learn a martial art, to stay/become fit and have fun doing it.
