The Vernon Towne Cinema

A very special old-school cinema. A treasure in the community. Best popcorn in town.

You know, I just came back from there and watched, uh what's it called? Oh yeah, "recon" it was a pretty good movie it was shot in enderby but it was still high-quality. It had some famous guy in it who was the drill Sargent but I forgot his name... Oh yeah, I'm doing a review on a theater and not a movie, I like the place, been going there since I was little. Uh popcorn isn't 100% so keep that in mind. It's kinda dry and gets stuck in your throught. Uh it looks like I misspelled throught becasue it's underlined red? Oh well, yeah idk good theatre.

Love the history. Its haunted. It's great. Reasonable price to get in. Staffs good. Great prices on popcorn combos. Clean. Only thing is they play the same movies a for a long time before changing them. Nit enough family shows or kids sometimes. Other great place

Adorable retro theatre with lovely management. They serve Jones Soda on tap which I've never seen before and prices are incredibly reasonable!

The Towne is the grand old Dame of Vernon cinema. Although it's been around since 1930 it has full Dolby digital surround sound and a really big screen. And the snack bar doesn't break the bank. The selections are limited but the prices are low. Once a month on Mondays the Towne plays host to the Vernon Film Society for interesting and enjoyable movies.
