I prayed isha'a and tarawih prayer at this location last night (Jul 03, 2015) A gem of a mosque tucked away in a tiny commercial area of Lachine (this area is usually associated with light industry, warehouses, etc and can feel a little creepy). The mosque is quite small but clean and well lit. The community of worshippers is tight knit and very friendly. At the end of witr, a lot of them approached me (and each other) and warmly greeted me with Salaam despite the fact that they had never seen me before. The Imam had a good pace and an engaging recitation. Just like many smaller places in North America, the Imam changes each Ramadan. During Ramadan 2013, it was Shaikh Idrissi. There was a short sermon after 4 raka'ah and it hit home. The brother spoke about the multiple references to animals in the Quran and the Hadeeth and how we can learn from them. Subhan Allah. Parking is not a problem as there is plenty of parking for the commercial area, which at 10:45pm is empty! taqqabal Allah
