*** I note a move that happened at least 8 years ago. This is to be taken into consideration. I sincerely hope that the service has changed since then. It was while shopping for a mover that I remembered my experience with them. And that a bad experience marks it, and poor conflict management even more. *** I moved from St-Roch to Limoilou in an apartment on the 3rd floor. The move had gone relatively well. The delivery men told me that a drawer had fallen and they were going to fix it. I can understand that it happens, and it was not a piece of furniture of great value. Once the deliverymen paid and tipped. My new neighbor living on the ground floor knocked on my door to tell me that something had fallen on his tank during the move. He was furious. The result was a huge bump on the corner of the roof and the driver's door. It was easy to see that something had fallen from the outside stairs since there were traces of the impact on the fresh snow covering the car. Pieces of wood were on the floor directly next to them and they corresponded to the broken drawer. I called to complain and the manager at the time immediately defended his employees aggressively and said that a cushion had fallen on the car and the drawer had fallen near the street. I couldn't believe it. Even after hearing my evidence to the contrary, he did not come to see the damage on site. No way to make him take responsibility and compensate my neighbor.
