Campbell River

This part of the island is so underrated. It has the island feel of Tofino but much more to see and do. If you are truly an outdoor enthusiast then this is where you want to be. The people are awesome and the fishing, hiking and beach are even better. Can't wait for my next trip back....

Our fishing guide brought us to a parking lot near the John Hart Dam to launch his rubber fishing boat, down a steep incline, into the Campbell River. The Campbell River is a river on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, draining into Discovery Passage at the northwest end of the Strait of Georgia, at the City of Campbell River, which is named for the river. ...
