Port Perry Moving & Storage

I would never recommend them. They treated our belongings like garbage. They did not respect the items marked as fragile or this side up. Many things were broken and 1 item never made it to our new location. We believe it was taken as their crew were talking about how much they would like to have it.

Just moved, 4 men, 2 large trucks, move went off without much trouble. I had a couple of things with very minor damage but the guys were upfront and it wasn't a big deal. These guys works hard and steady for 12 hours, very polite, and professional. I would definately use them again.

I would NEVER recommend this so-called Moving company. For one they can't pack properly, many of your antiques get broken or cracked, let alone many of your dishes. Another thing, I'm missing a watercolour painting of Mount Fuji, which is over 80 years old. I have a big collection of hardcover books, including my Yearbooks from 50 years ago, they and everything else was is excellent condition, until they placed it in storage, many of those are also in very poor condition. I'm also missing a framed needlepoint of a Golden Eagle, it was about 20 inches square, and was wool, my other needlepoint is of an Alsation, mainly the head and neck, on a blue background, well that also has a dent on the wool, and it also is filthy with dirt. My National Geographic--NG, magazines, half aren't even in the burgandy covers, and those covers were not even in the boxes, and many of them are in poor condition. I have six NG leather covered books, well only one is in excellent condition, however one was tearing on the outside before they even packed, they others are not in that good condition at all, well not to my standards!! Some of my hardcover books are a tad warped, they were also in good condition. All my books and 45s were all in 100 Percent condition, no scratches, none spilt, or dirty, no chips around the edges, about five are totally ruined, and everything else was in excellent condition, these can never be replaced. I'm also missing a crystal bowl, that cost me $300.00, it was in a box, I have dessert bowls that are Chinese, out of the six I had, I now only have 2. . I also had NG that were over 100 years old, never found those, except about ten pages from one of them. Oh, and my Dream catcher, that was $400.00, that was also in excellent condition, well since it's dear skin, and placed underneath something that was heavy, it now has three dents on the painting, and two Eagle feathers are missing, let alone all the feathers are also in poor condition.When Katherine packed at the old address, then it was put in storage, they unpack everything, put it in totes, so they say, then repack it all before they deliver, never have I ever heard of such nonsense as that. I've moved many a times over the years, had to place in storage, I got everything back in excellent condition. Many of the boxes were split open at the sides. Some of my antiques were not even wrapped properly in bubble wrap, or very little of it and were broken, no good now. Oh, and 40 of my 45 rpms were ruined, out of the 300 I have. I had placed them all in a special box, I made myself, 47 years ago, I even had a note attached around the box, saying for them, to all stay in this box and to be extra careful with them, however I found them underneath heavy objects in the boxes, they can NEVER be replaced. Oh, and six of my LPs were also missing, to which I counted before they packed. I am a very observant person, and can remember all that I own, like everything. Well, I'll say this, NEVER trust them, as they're the MOST INCOMPETENT company on the Planet. Don't expect any apology from them either, or reimbursement. Yes, this Company can't be trusted and they SUCK 10,000 %.

After hearing great things about Port Perry Movers were were very disappointed. After they left our home to go to our new house we went downstairs only to find many items had not been taken. In addition we were forced to move many items out of our garage ourselves. After expressing concern and asking for some compensation they blamed us for not packing properly. However we were never given any packing instructions. Not cool Port Perry, when you are given a job you should complete it properly. In fact the people moving into our old house were not happy as we still had many items left to move. Port Perry put us into a very awkward position. I would never recommend Port Perry Movers!

Absolutely the best moving and storage around. So quick, efficient, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend to everyone thinking of moving.
