Georgetown GO

Parking okay. Needs more shelters. Nice old train station. GO transit could use with more frequent trains.

Lovely old station but needs some urgent TLC, paint coming off the woodwork, parts of the roof falling off.

We didn’t catch a train but was a lovely place

Very historic and original station building. The station has adequate parking for current transit ridership but will need tweaks in the future. The tunnel from the south lot needs to be extended to the north lot rather than just the platform as it would save many time from walking all the way around the platform and would reduce the number of illegal track crossings. There should also be heated stops at each end of the station for those waiting on rides or buses as the station building hours are sparse.

A nice place to go, friendly staff, heat, PRESTO machines for GO Transit travelers, all in all a welcoming environment.
