OOMOMO Japan Living

If I can get a chance to give it 0 starts, I would love to. I worked here and left because of Winston (Store Manager). He thinks he is above all and we employees do not have any idea and knowledge. He is surely rude and arrogant. No one will see any 4 or 5 ratings from employees. I would like people if they want to work in Oomomo work in other locations, but not in Metrotown, because you will leave for sure in no time. You will start feeling mental stress. One ex-employee to future employees, who are planning to join.

A simple comparison of a basic item (DISPOSABLE FACE MASK) Oomomo is making money due to pandemic and taking advantage of people's necessity. a few cents is acceptable, this is almost double the price. Do you really think Walmart is selling face masks at loss? I will upload more pictures of Japanese drinks and foods which are actually much cheaper in Walmart and expensive in Oomomo (So called Japan Living).

Suffocated Store, too much stuffs lying on the floor. Covid-19 hazard. Heard that already a few cases in this store. High prices, lowest quality, not at all knowledgeable staff and rude management. A chinese management guy is very rude towards customers and looks frustrated. Its my 3rd and last time coming to store as product and staff quality keeps on reducing

Inferior to when it was branded as Daiso. Fairchild Group’s Oomomo is pricier and has a much more limited and disappointing selection. Employees at Daiso seemed happier and more informed. New staff could care less and know nothing about the products or where anything is. Fewer Daiso brand goods and more off brands. It might as well be Miniso-China owned posing as Japanese or Mumuso-China owned and posing as Korean.

Used to Work in Metrotown location. Winston (store Manager) is like Kim Jong Un. Dominating rude and mean. Always watched you from camera even on his days off. I feel like I am working in a prison. Never asks us to focus on customers. Winston has no respect for his employees and has a biased nature. No wonder why so many employees left in this location and will keep on leaving. Worst guy to work with.
