Ostrander Painting

I requested a quote and after a few days with no reply I sent a follow up email. I never got a reply. Perhaps they are not interested in the job but at least have the courtesy to let the customer know instead of keeping me waiting. For a company that doesn’t return emails means it doesn’t really care about their customers. Don’t use them!

Ostrander Painting is hands down the best painting company/painter in town. The level of quality produced is outstanding and lasts for a lifetime. Kelly painted my house about 10 years ago while he was in Edmonton. The paint job is still extraordinary to this day. Kelly worked efficiently and kept the area clean and organized. He painted all the bedrooms upstairs, the kitchen cabinets, the entire living room including the 16' loft area. He also spruced up the backyard fences and my deck. He's handy, talented and works in a timely and efficient matter. He charged me an excellent price for the entire job, gave great advice on what material and paint to purchase, and left the house looking better than when I bought it. Katrina.

Kelly did painting jobs for me several times as a part of general renovation of my unit. I did the renovation in stages and hired him repeatedly for each stage. He is an old school painter with extensive knowledge of the trade and some related areas. He is more than willing to explain what he does and why and why this is the best choice for the situation. I hired him with the understanding that he will work slowly and pay attention to detail. He delivered; did a great job painting almost the entire unit, including trim and some cabinet and closet doors. He also did wall preparation, drywall repair (needed after some demolition work took place), wallpaper removal, patch up work which required colour matching, fixing corners etc. He also spray painted heating elements and fireplace. The end result was fine job; the walls were very smooth and even, no visible imperfections of any kind, no matter how I changed the lighting and angle of viewing. All the work was finished up to my expectations. During his job, he kept the area very clean, covered floors and furniture very well, isolated dust penetration to other areas when he was sanding. Overall, he did great job and I would strongly recommend him to anyone who need quality painting job.

Kelly came by when I made a posting looking for someone with experience to paint my bathroom. My budget wasn't the biggest, but he accommodated accordingly. What originally looked like a few-day project took Kelly a couple hours to complete. He completely reno-d my bathroom and left a beautiful finish. It was an off tone white with smoke damage, holes in the wall, and other damage left by previous tenants. Kelly made my bathroom look like a million bucks by helping me choose a beautiful light blue with glossy finish and he fixed all the damage on the walls. Left no mess behind and a smile on my face. I am so happy with his work and will refer him to any one looking for a reliable, fast, amazing and talented painter.
