Shoppers Drug Mart

After grabbing a few items from the beauty department I was quickly followed by the staff and flagged down as I was ‘not allowed to carry these items through the store’. Apparently shopping in store here is discouraged, so after she took the items from me and walked them back to the shelves i left the store as that was all I had gone in to purchase. Very unhappy with the customer service.

I was trying to pay at the self check out today and kept seeing an error message, I asked the older blond lady at the cash desk 3 times for help and all she said was press "ok" this did not work. I then pushed the need assistance button and she said just hit ok again! Finally another cashier/supervisor came to help after 10 minutes! I let him know what had happened and the older woman started arguing that she was helping someone else but no one else was there! She was standing behind the counter doing nothing and pretending not to see me! This is not the first time this older blond woman has been unhelpful. It is literally her only job to make sure people can check out and pay and she makes it seem like the biggest inconvenience if she needs to move she is rude to customers and lazy! They need new staff at this location for sure!

The pharmacy always goes above and beyond to help out! Highly recommended.

Generally has been an alright place to shop, it's not somewhere I go nearly as frequently as of recent as their closing hours have been limited to the same as Safeway across the street since COVID, who has better selection and prices. Security has a weird vibe to them, I don't always feel welcomed.

So. The man working at the pharmacy told my friend she probably had about ten years to live? She just.... had a question about liquorice root??? I just want to know if this man is okay??? Like... does he need a friend? An outlet to talk to? “You’re probably too far gone,” and saying she probably will get cancer?? LIQUORICE ROOT! She just wanted some tea to help her stomach! Christ!
