Safeway Pharmacy Downtown

Under no circumstances should anyone trust the staff at this pharmacy. On three occasions in a row I had called in to refill a prescription or confirm a faxed prescription from my doctor’s office. In 3 of 3 occasions the person who I spoke to did not do anything and when I got there I was told they have no idea why they didn’t do anything. The fax instance required the pharmacy to call me. After not hearing from them I called them instead and was told they’d have it ready only for me to arrive and be told they didn’t do it and also didn’t call me or call me back after I reached out. I can’t imagine they should be trusted with anything as important as medication and would say to go to a different pharmacy capable of managing patients’ prescriptions.

This is a great pharmacy. I have two drug plans and lots of medications. They are very helpful and know what to put on each plan. I can refill over the phone and it is ready for pickup. They are not the closest pharmacy to me but it is worth the extra distance,

Depending on which staff help you, the service can be good or terrible. There is one staff person who is just terrible. She has the worst attitude and acts like she can't be bothered to help customers.
