Real Canadian Superstore

Way better than the "fake" Canadian superstore...

My husband and I went to NE No frills and just as fast as we entered we exited. Drove to this superstore instead and it was nice to not be in a busy store and able to actually look at lots of products. I didn't feel like I wanted to get in and out of a store just because too much people was there. Was a relaxing shopping with my husband. They have a good selection for produce too.

This is the place I most likely get all my groceries at you can't find anything you need in groceries and house needs yard needs and other needs you need but for real I love this place it's a good place for everything.

Customer service need to improve

Best grocery store in the area for sure, but always check your receipt! They follow the “Canadian Scanner Accuracy code” - which is great - but their out is usually the teeny expiry date showing on the shelf price label. For example - I was overcharged on an item and the shelf label had expired 3 weeks prior. So anyone in the past three weeks buying that product paid $5 instead of the posted $3. In this case, Customer Service will refund the difference if you notice the overcharge after paying. Another time an entire three rows of canned fish products were mislabeled showing a sale price that expired over a month prior. Again, how many people must have overpaid in that time? But if the shelf price is not expired and I’m overcharged at the till, I go straight to Customer Service for a full refund if the item is under $10. One time it was batteries. Another time cheese. Another time fresh oysters... You get the picture. Still, overall best selection and pricing in the area. (I haven’t noticed this issue being any better or worse since Covid) Just check that receipt!
