Steamboy auto spa

I have been going to this car wash regularly since I discovered it. It is right behind the Macs gas station. I usually go there about weekly or bi-weekly depending on my schedule, but they never disappointed me. The prices are cheaper compared to the car wash nearby, and the services are great! The owner is not fluent in English, but still well communicable. I can tell he knows what he's doing, and is great at it. They offer self car wash, and the cleaning & detailing service (both interior and exterior). The only drawback I found is that when they do cleaning service takes about an hour to complete. I usually go eat while waiting, or shop around across the street. When you want the cleaning service, I suggest you book an appointment first, because a lot of times when I went there without appointment, they were busy with other cars. Considering the amount of time they take when cleaning, I would recommend booking an appointment first. But overall, I am very satisfied with their service and will be going there again.

Jason did a perfect job to wash and clean my car inside out with reasonable price. I recommend him to all.

My spouse had a very good experience at Steamboy auto spa. The guy that does the cleaning, Jason, does a very thorough job. Both the interior and exterior looked great. Jason took over the place in December, 2015 when the owner left and it sounds like he is doing this on an interim basis until he finds a new owner (he's the building landlord). But he says he has experience working at the Richmond auto spa and he seems knowledgeable. I did have an issue with the floor mats smelling a bit foul afterwards though. I thought that it was mildew from the mats not drying out properly. But when we talked I realised that this was likely a problem caused by the original car owner and covered up by the dealership. They had sealed a thin clear plastic cover over all of the floor mats and when they were peeled off it was evident that there were some old, foul smelling stains. Maybe the previous owner lived on a farm? Jason washed the mats again to get the stains and smell out without charging me for the extra work. The only thing I would keep in mind is that if you're taking your car in you should give yourself about 3 hours waiting time. I gave myself 4 hours and just went for coffee and some shopping across the street.And always book a time over the phone before going for an appointment because Jason is often out of the office between appointments, but will be there when one is booked. I would definitely recommend this place over the others as they have the best prices and the service is excellent, and I plan on continuing to go back.
