McKinnon Gym

We pay $88 for these facilities as students, so the perception that it is "free" that seems to be unwittingly adopted by most students that go here is simply not true. I like this gym, because it is sincere. This is what it should be like to have a students athletics plan. $88 for just that: a students athletics plan that provides services for students. The facilities that we have been provided with however, are unacceptable. A locker room with silver fish and dilapidated, rusted lockers, a gym with spacing so little that few students can use it at a time. As part of the student body, I would want to be able to discuss these issues and see changes. Uvic do better.

BC badminton provincials hosted here and elsewhere. Easy parking. Good courts, lots of space to move around. Viewing from the upper balcony was good, very little seating for spectators.

Really amazing staff. Pool facility is awesome

Minimal amount of equipment with few options for cardio. The facility should be renovated and better taken care of.
