Calm

It is a wonderful ride, but a major part of it is currently closed, so you need to take residential streets instead, making it a bit hillier than normal. Also, the online maps are not clear and signage very limited in places, so we were constantly looking up directions on the phone. Otherwise had a great afternoon biking.

Fell in the river and lost my headphones, but it really improved my mental state

I adore this park! It connects (I think) to two other parks so you get a good long stretch of smooth paved cycling or walking paths. There are benches everywhere and little corners to step down to the Coquitlam River. There are stations with information and activities, like outdoor tiny gyms. Friendly and welcoming to everyone!
