Shaughnessy Park Dog Off-leash Area

Great spot by the river.lots of people families as well and all social distancing.

Huge space for large breed dogs to roam. Also seperate large area for dogs under 35 lbs. If you hav t been there, check it out.

Great for dogs and drinks, a little shallow this time of year for tubing.

Fenced park for small and large dogs separate. The large dogs can be muddy. What drives me crazy in this park is people being irresponsible. Sitting chatting not paying attention to the dogs (they even have permanent chairs there) and their dogs just bully everyone who does not belong in their opinion. So park is nice but if you get there when the elite people are sitting - be aware, some dogs may attack your dog... and owners won’t even apologize - as if they own the park and we are not included. So the park is nice, but sitting mafia is not.

Was so very happy to find a tiny dog park!
