Cost of move was much way more than quote. We were surprised at the final cost. Claudia? I think Parksville, Nanaimo Person dealing with arrangements on the phone was difficult to communicate with. When our stuff arrived at the new property the staff said 'their cell phone wasn't getting a signal' and asked to use mine to send payment for the removal. We wouldn't use this company again. This is our experience of using Bekins and without prejudice.

Excellent to deal with. Friendly, helpful staff right from the first contact to the end. Due to a problem with the elevator, the two movers carried everything up 3 flights of stairs to save me money. Huge shout out to Ron and Bailey. Thank you everyone.

Bekin"s final charges were much more than quoted.One of the reasons we hired them was that our possessions would be in a sealed container until we received them at our new location.This did not happen..Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.I would not recommend these grifters..

Not only can we not recommend Bekins but would advise others to a avoid this company for long distance moving. We have shipped long distance between Canada and Europe 6 times using many different companies, without any major incident until now. On arrival in Europe much of our stuff was smashed, the container was so badly loaded that boxes marked fragile arrived crushed. One heavy item (55 kg) that we instructed Bekins to remove and dispose of before loading the sea container, was instead loaded end up on top of cardboard boxes clearly marked with red tape and the word fragile. The damage could not have been caused by a shift in the load on route which is often used as an excuse, but deliberate bad packing. The professional local company receiving our goods in Europe were shocked by the amateur, to the point of negligence, way the sea container was loaded (evidenced with photographs). We did not get the service we paid through the nose for. We have received no apology nor the Airmiles which were promised on 5 occasions over the last 6 months. Many of our emails have been ignored, they were quick to take the nearly $20,000 but not in responding to customer concerns.

Bill and team were very professional, knowledgeable, and patient with our hot tub move. Would definitely use them again. Thanks you guys :)
