Was asked for documents that weren't needed because package was out for delivery already. Tracking info CHANGED from day to day (earlier in week package from the UK passed thru the US then to Caglary, today it went directly from the UK to Red Deer) so not sure online tracking is all that trustworthy.

My international package was picked up by UPS. After seven days they notified me that a special documentation through CBSA needed to be obtained. Standard time frame for obtaining this document was 5 to 10 business days, they gave me three hours. Then they attempted to return the package while still charging me the full shipping rate. Despite the error being on their side, and the CBSA agent telling me on the phone this was absolute BS, UPS genuinely doesn’t care. I spent 9.5 hours on the phone with different departments, not including the email threads. Now they have listed my packages as abandoned. What an embarrassment! UPS: treating people like garbage is our business!

I would give zero stars. Terrible experience, had a package that was marked as delivered, and nothing at my door. I missed the delivery by 10 minutes, it is possible that the parcel had been stolen, however why can't delivery services either leave a pick up slip or try and deliver the next day or later??? I can't file a claim either because every time I try it tells me I am entering an invalid email and phone number...will avoid at all costs.

If there was a way to post less that one star, I would. Horrible company to ship with. Have just spent 3.5 hours on hold with UPS to try to speak to someone to pay the extortionist brokerage rates ($31 brokerage fees on a $26 item). No contact info or person to speak to at UPS locally on the phone and are near useless in person. Will specifically request not to ship with UPS on all future shipments, and I suggest you do the same to save money. (Especially on packages from the US)
