The Wandering Greek Oven

Cheery and easy to talk to staff. Unfortunately our delivery driver was very turned around. Spoke with him and then called the restaurant to explain, I was assured our food would "show up".. I guess regardless of wether or not it was cold. I guess if it was hot and fresh we might have looked past the incredibly small portion size for 20$ mains. Or the dry chicken breast that would be suited for a kids menu. Pita that is cold and hard isn't palatable, and 5 slices of meat in a kids cone sized Gyro also doesn't offer very much satisfaction. Maybe we ordered on an off day, but an apology for the delay or some sort of recognition that it didn't go as planned would have been much appreciated. Sorry guys..

Awesome food. Pizza prices were slightly high, but pizza was amazing. Also the Calamari was excellent.

The place to dine in Castlegar. Friendly, consistent, and great food. Heather and George are super stars. Shoutout to Chris in the back and all the friendly servers.

We were staying nearby and got the pasta special for takeout. It was great. Really solid comfort food. We would definitely get it again!

haven't travelled to Castlegar since February due to the pandemic and was very much craving lasagna from The Wandering Greek Oven...when I arrived the server apologized for my wait (in line, no big deal) and I told her no problem the food is worth the wait...and oh wow, it was...the lasagna was so good and I am currently trying to take small bites of the Lemon Lavender Cheesecake so I can enjoy all the flavors and tastes and not just devor it!! So good and definitely worth any wait, thank you...see you next month!!
