Nice staff but instantly got a headache when I walked in from the horrific mixtures of odors from the perfume counter. Ended up buying tylenol as well while I was there for the headache. Great marketing idea☹. Please move the perfume as some people are scent sensitive (far worse than myself).
The digital photo printer kiosk is so outdated, how about upgrading that thing? Sat there for 40 minutes touch screen barely works! Bring your own cord lol, finally it worked no! My photos didn't show up... gave up and drove to Trail Wal-Mart. Always wondered why I never see anyone using it.
Upon filling a prescription in another pharmacy for obvious reasons, I wanted to be discreet, as this is a very busy pharmacy and their professionalism is very low here (once the pharmacist teams was gossiping about me as they thought I had left, but I actually was crouched down picking out child cough syrup and could overhear them gossiping about me, and talking in a negative tone and manner about me after dropping a prescription off, NO DISCRETION AT ALL) upon coming back to this pharmacy, the manager kept hounding me to find out which prescription I had filled there and why, stating it may react with my other prescriptions. I said how I have been on these other prescriptions my entire life and this one for 2 years, they did not react. She pressured me for an answer, to which I didn't want to tell her and felt embarrassed, she kept pressuring me so I eventually told her and she confirmed it had no reactions (like I had not been prescribed this in more professional pharmacies in the city). I find this harassment and how do you complain when it is the manager of the pharmacy who is this unprofessional? Aren't prescriptions supposed to be personal? and what is it her business if I went somewhere else? I feel the "need to know" for whatever or obvious reasons, was clouding her judgment. Small town pharmacies are the worst for discretion.
Super friendly staff and an amazing pharmacy team. Well knowledgeable and caring.
10 minutes until close. Maeve the cashier is on till, assisting a particularly confused guy with gift cards. Gift Card Guy needs several explanations, which is fine. Such is life. Maeve has the patience of a Saint, repeatedly answering his questions (for the record, you can't buy gift cards with Optimum points) then directs him where to find another product, before starting my transaction. He goes. All seems good. By now, a line has formed behind me, but, alas, Gift Card Guy is now VERY confused after not finding Dollarama-exclusive phone cards, loudly yelling out questions from 15 feet away. Still, Maeve tries to answer him. Suddenly, three other Shopper's employees meander past Gift Card Guy and the line up of waiting customers. Things look hopeful for a moment, but, sadly and disappointingly, they are too involved in their private conversations to assist. They leave the area as quickly as they came, abandoning their comrade in her retail struggle.
Not cool, guys. Maeve is awesome. Be like Maeve. Help her out.
Otherwise, service is typically excellent, products stay stocked pretty well, and the staff are super friendly! 5 stars!
