Muslim Prayer room Fridays

Conveniently located at the library near Yonge-Eglinton Centre (northwest of the intersection). Great because not many masjids in that area to pray so it's difficult to be back in time for work. Spacious area to pray in a big room.

Please arrange another imam who is more relatable to the general public (professionals) attending the Friday prayers. JazakAllah Khairein for your efforts.

Is it possible to coordinate with the organizer of this congregation to ensure we have somewhere to communicate whether prayer is happening and what time? There's been occasions where I attended and there was no prayer held there.

Spacious room for Friday prayers organized entirely by volunteers (may Allah bless them) on the 2nd floor of the Northern District library. Very convenient location for those living or working in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, space for women is quite small, only one row possible, so we were uncomfortably tightly packed. I would request the organizers to please increase the space, at least during Ramadan. Khutba was good, thought-provoking. We were in for a special treat as one brother said his shahada today, subhanAllah.

This is not an actual mosque but they rent a room on the 2nd floor of a public library which is nice. Very convenient for whoever lives or works at Yonge and Eglinton area. Friday khotba starts at 1:30pm and Salat starts at 2pm (as of April 2019)
