I went in looking for a potential piece to buy to bring back home. I have never been treated so awkwardly in a gallery, or any store. I was followed around by the owner, who couldn’t be bothered to say so much as a “hello” and instead stared me down for the duration of my brief look around the gallery. I tried to smile and say hello and was met with silence and continued staring me down. **If you are the owner and reading this please take note, from someone else who works with customers: you are not the only gallery owner (there are at least 5 on this street alone) and business is increasingly moving online. Stalking potential clients is a really good way to ensure you lose a sale. If you’re that worried please invest in some security cameras if you’re that concerned about people damaging or stealing.
