Queen Charlotte Visitor Centre

This visitor centre has the best and most friendly and knowledgeable staff I’ve seen in any visitor centre. Their love of Queen Charlotte is evident as they try to help visitors. They go above and beyond to help you out and this is so amazing to see. Also: if you’re about to buy gifts, they have the prices on the island.

Perfect starting place for a visit to Haida Gwaii. Nice gift shop. Good location to walk to town. Great views.

Not very welcoming or interested in helping or even talking to me. So disappointed.

A very pleasant surprise. Lots of information about the island coupled with a variety of gifts ranging from inexpensive stickers to valuable original artwork and jewelry. Worth a visit by tourists and locals.
