Cineplex Cinemas Seton and VIP

The inconsistencies of Seton's Cineplex theater is truly tragic given the potential it had to deliver on it's experience, and how comfortably it is situated within the Calgary's South-Eastern community. While the theater can provide adequate services to those who live close, the unfortunate reality is that it misses the mark just as many, if not more times than it hits with these facilities. For each quiet night out in a clean auditorium, there are just as many creaking DBOX chairs and irresponsible employee protocol allowing recycled popcorn into your mouth that are sure to ruin your experience (both of which were shrugged off by an unfazed manager). Regrettably, as this is one of the nicer theaters in Calgary - sporting innovative incline chairs and modern liberties to the overall design of the classic theater - I cannot in good faith give Seton's Cineplex a positive rating until these issues and the like are remedied.

What an amazing experience! Watched Avengers End Game here and it was incredible! Very comfy seats, excellent customer service and the food was great! I’m so happy with my experience and I can’t wait to go back again.

It was frickin amazing to sit in the recliner chairs and watch a great movie on the Big Screen AGAIN! My fiance and I saw "Unhinged" on September 5th. I highly recommend this movie. Seeing a 275lb Russell Crowe is worth the price of admission alone. I'd give 5 stars but Cineplex still charges you a blood sample, your first born and asking for a CC with a $500 limit for Popcorn and SODA Pop!!! Come on guy's...$22 for a large popcorn and 2 large soft drinks. I'm not drinking beer at a Flames game for God sakes, make snacks affordable and cater to your entire audience, not just those with more disposable income. I'll get off of my soap box now.😁 See you at the MOVIES 😎

The wife and I went to a movie the other day. The young staff were polite and helpful as per usual. We watched the movie and then came. Upon arriving home which is about 8 mins, I realized that I did not have my phone. We called and the theatre and that had grabbed my phone so I drove back. When I got there they were waiting for me handed me my phone and a black purse. I told them I don't think that purse is mine....... When I opened the purse sure enough my wife's stuff was in there and she had also forgotten her purse. With money and a passport still intacted. That's the kind of experience that keeps you loyal and thankful for. Well done everyone, You saved the Day!

Great movie theatre! The chairs are comfy and give a ton of space, but the armrests also raise up so if you had a significant other you wanted to cuddle with it's quite easy! The front entrance is also well laid out and usually not too busy and the popcorn is always delicious!
