Twilight Drive-In Theatre

Appreciated the pandemic precautions, it was a great time!

A great way to get out & still be socially distance. There is plenty of space between cars. Once dark enough, the screen image was clear & sound wasn't an issue on the radio. Unfortunately the concession stand was closed due to covid restrictions but I can say the toilets were clean. Would be a fun thing to do in summer or winter!

We paid online for the triple feature of Back to the Future. It was so easy. You just get your phone or printed ticket scanned on the door. We chose our spot. Arriving an hour before the first film. Even with half capacity the view is restricted by hatchbacks and trucks but we set up camp in front of our car. With everything set it was time for food. Line up and service was well organised. The food was expensive but tasty. If it means keeping a drive in open then I don't mind paying a little extra. Washrooms are pretty clean. The film experience was good, watching a movie out doors is pretty cool. This is the downside. The smell of cigarettes and drugs got a little overwhelming during the second film. Smoking is allowed in the smoking area and thank goodness it is. Too many places have restrictions for no reason. The smoke was coming from people beside their cars. This along with some weird behaviour of some other patrons put an end to the evening. If you like your family movies with added drugs and strange people sure bring along your family but I wouldn't. Twilight drive in is run by children who have no blame for its short comings. They are really nice and polite. I'd most probably return next year but stay in my car with the window closed. A 5 star night down to a 3 due to the lack of responsibility of the owner

First time. Definitely recommend. Has some advantages over the cinema. Only had to hear one other person crunching on popcorn not hundreds. You can talk during the movie without disturbing people. Next time I'd suggest being prepared with blankets and pillows for a more comfortable time.

What a magical place! Super clean concession and washrooms, friendly staff and great prices on food and movies. I can not recommend this place enough. Feels like going back in time. I love how they have vintage animation promoting the concession in between movies. I'm so happy they're still around!
