I was asked by our strata to organize roofer services for moss removal, exterior gutter cleaning and sealing of leaks. The job was given to Komo Roofing, owned and operated by Kevin Luethi. Kevin is very knowledgeable and took the time to respond to my questions. During the initial walk-about he observed potential problem areas on the roof. Kevin offered options and we agreed on a plan that best suited our needs. The roofing crew was courteous, diligent, and provided quality work. The crew noticed that moisture was collecting outside of the dryer vent along with a lot of lint. They took pictures, explained the problem and efficiently repaired without delay. Once the work was completed Kevin provided a detailed description of the work done, materials used and associated costs. The final cost was reasonable. At first I had trouble believing all of the great reviews that I was reading about Komo roofing. But I gave Kevin a call and didn’t regret it. He was responsive, professional and friendly. Kevin came by within 24 hours, gave me the best quote of any company that I called, and had a mason come by within a few days to repoint my chimney. Not only did they do a great job, but they put up safety equipment so the workers were safe and I felt comfortable. Probably the best thing about the experience was that Kevin and his two workers were really nice people to each other and to me. Boris the mason did a thorough, first rate job on the chimney. It looks like new. He took the time to do it right. They also added a bit of caulking and fixed a few pieces of flashing that needed fastening as a courtesy and didn’t ask for any more money on top of their modest fee. I really was impressed and would hire them again in a heart beat. Highly recommended.
