This place is so awesome, Laura is so patient and understanding even when my muscles are tense and tight and I struggle to relax due to stress in my body. She is really good at her job and provides a top notch massage.

I first attended Avani in August, mainly to check out whether they were a "True Scent Free" establishment.I have visited many massage/physio establishments to get help with my particular problem throughout Selkirk and the Interlake, only to walk out because of the strong air freshener pollutants. Each of the owners/staff of these polluted environments have argued with me that they are all natural scents, but I, having an extreme sensitivity to chemical scents know better as my throat begins to blister within minutes of being in their buildings. At Avani, they took the time to understand my situation and I spent 45 minutes in their building without any adverse effects. Second, Kelly, the therapist recommended to me, kept her promise and looked into how she could best provide service to me...something other therapists have not done and put me in more pain rather than diminish my pain. It took me a long time to trust therapists after several bad experiences, but Kelly and the people at Avani have answered my prayers. My experiences this far have been very positive and I recommend Avani to anyone who has been scared off by other massage therapists who work in polluted environments with air fresheners and yet call themselves a 'wellness centre" Thank You Avani!
