I enjoyed training with Don so much, he made me fall in love with kickboxing. He encouraged me to push myself and trained me hard but also had me work at my pace and knew when I needed to rest. Tomari Martial Arts is such a professional and fun environment, I would so love to still train with Don if I hadn't moved out of the country. Hands down best Martial Arts place in Nanaimo, and I've tried out many. Thanks Don for everything!

I have been training with Don during my semester abroad at VIU and it was one of the most amazing experiences I made there! He is a very professional, patient, kind, and funny teacher, I cannot imagine a better person to learn from. You can always rely on him when it comes to reaching your personal goals since he makes it his mission to take you there. He will push you to your limits and beyond and shows you that you can do much more than you now think you could. Thank you so much for this special time and for being the most amazing motivator!
