Serving humanity to the best of their abilities...I've witnessed hands on needy families getting food and supplies from this place..some people below who have complained seem to be either fake or unreasonable...every mosque has parking issues during Friday prayers...regarding old ladies complaint below, they are managing the place to the best of their abilities and i found them pretty reasonable...dont expect perfection...live and let live..

Muslim Welfare Centre is a well kept musalla and food bank that receives many people every day. In terms of the food bank, you can volunteer their if you like, go to the front desk for more information. From my experience, as long as you do your job, volunteering isn't that bad, although be prepared to do lots of tasks (there are lots of things to do there, mainly just moving food around). SOME people may think the people who work there are rude, but honestly, if you are lazy then maybe volunteering here is not for you. Remember that you are not just volunteering for hours, but you are helping a food bank for needy people for the sake of Allah. Now as for the musalla, there is daily 5 prayers as well as other prayers like Eid, Juma, and Tarweeh that typically takes place. The imams are well educated, and know their stuff. However, keep in mind that it usually gets quite busy, especially on Fridays, and the parking can be limited. Park in the nearby shopping centre on the busy days. For its size, there are only a few wudhu areas and 2 accessible washrooms on the mens side, so try to come with wuhdu on busy days. As for the women's side, its quite small but on most days there is still enough space for salah. Fun fact: There are also quran classes that happen here (mainly for children) for both boys and girls during the weekends all year (I'm not sure about weekdays, but I think they used to have it at summer too). But not many know about it since its almost never advertised. Just ask one of the imams for more information and they will probably direct you. Overall, its a great place to pray salah/read quran with its location nearby the busy part of Mississauga and its usually available and welcoming for anyone who enters.
