Shoppers Drug Mart

I will definitely NOT be back to this store. I wanted to spend my points as it was a spend your points event. I was followed around by the security guard the whole time I was there. I’ve never felt like such a criminal. Every time I turned around he was there right behind me. Reading some of the other reviews it sounds like I’m not the only one that has had this happen.

I don't go here anymore. Almost everytime I did the security guard is following me around or staring at me. Makes you feel very uncomfortable. Seems like this has happened to a few people. I understand that's their job but I feel like it could be approached a little differently.

The lady at the lotto department is amazing. I will give 5 star for her very professional service. However, I am very disappointed with the ladies at the cosmetic department as well as their security guard. They all gave me this prejudice suspecting gaze. I felt disrespected. Very unprofessional. Just like what happened when Marketplace did their show surveillance a couple of years ago ( from another Shoppers Store). I will never go back to this Shoppers. I never had this kind of experience from any other Shoppers Drug.

Huge Shout out for Brenda at the Canada Post counter in Shoppers, Brenda is my favorite lady there as she is always so helpful and professional She goes above and beyond and really understands how to respond to people. I get that it is not always an easy job dealing with the public all day long but Brenda carries out her job with humor and friendliness. She helped me tremendously with an issue that was not straight forward and she could have sent me on my way to work it out for myself but she troubleshooted it with me and worked with me to figure it out. She really should be acknowledged for her outstanding customer service. Thanks Brenda, you really are a gem. Elizabeth Bloos Red Deer AB

I shop here frequently and I’m so tired of having the security follow me around the store the whole time. Maybe I should shop elsewhere where I’m not treated like a criminal. I mentioned this to the staff and they didn’t even acknowledge me. Stay away from this shoppers!
