Absolutely love this small business! Owners are incredibly nice and friendly. They always happily greet you and help you find what you're looking for. I understand prices are a bit higher than what it is in Vancouver, but I understand that they are a specialty store and have to order, ship and transport these items to the island compared to Vancouver where there would be cheaper shipping/transport rates since there are more consumers. We loved a brand of this Thai tea drink, unfortunately they were running low of it so the owner helped us order a batch of it and saved it for us. I truly appreciate the dedication of this small business, and I will continue to show support to my Asian community and this store.

The last time I was in this store I wanted to buy some tofu which turned out to be 3 weeks (!) past the expiration date. The owner said that the deliveries only come through once every two weeks which is why the dates are bad. But if the deliveries are every 2 weeks then why is the food 3 weeks past date? I've shopped at this store for over 14 years and bought some good food here though the years. Nostalgia prevents a one-star review. Just double check the sell-by date on anything you want to buy.

If you are looking for Asian ingredients and some Asian cookware man Lee is great place. Staff is always friendly and willing to help find your request or steer you in the right direction if they don't have it. Prices are excellent as well. Hands down best selection on the island in one store that I have found.
