Quality Foods Harewood

Decent shop. Good parking. Decent Chinese buffet. Like all shops at the moment, they haven't figured out a better way to line up at the check out.

I started shopping here during Covid because it is kept nicer and has less traffic than the nearby grocery store. It's laid out nicely, they clean each cart, aisles are one way, staff wear masks. The produce is nice. Their app is fantastic for deals. Great grocery store

They have a nice restaurant.. after shopping or before ..have breastfast or lunch...great place to eat!!

This is by far my favorite grocery store in Nanaimo. They always have what I need, the staff are always polite and helpful, there open later than most and there line are never to long. Great job QF...

If you are a small family or less this is a great place. Nice setup, great ready cooked section, and decent space overall. Don't forget pub up top. the covid flow is very counter productive as you are generally forced down every aisle which actually kills easy flow through store. For larger families though and for purchasing meat it is pretty poor. A family pack isn't 3-4 pork chops, when i am doing a ground meat prep I shouldn't need 8-10 packs of meat to get what I need done. Meat pricing is on the high side and beware of specials, the 5 for 25 often seems attractive but the chuck beef is at 17-19 a kg with ground being at approx 15. Sure you are saving a buck or two off of weighted measure but the price per kg tanks those savings.
