Holiday Inn Express Grande Prairie

Cheryl was hands down one of the kindest people I have encountered. After finding out I’d had an extremely difficult day and was traveling over 13 hours to get to the hotel, Cheryl treated me with such kindness and not only upgraded me to make my life easier but also went out of her way to get snacks for my pets for the remainder of my trip. If I ever go through Grand Prairie or know someone who is traveling through I will 100% recommend this hotel solely based on her.

Needed rooms for 7 professionals in GP on short notice. Erica and Cheryl put it all together immediately. Excellent rates and great feedback from our team on the rooms and the breakfast. Thanks and see you in a couple weeks when we do this again.

If you are passing through town and need a quick place to stay, I'm sure it is fine. If you require a multi- night stay, I recommend going somewhere else. I recently spent twelve nights there for work, and in that time my room was not serviced once. They stated because of Covid-19, they were cleaning rooms once every seven nights, or five for extended stays. But even though I asked for my room to be done, it was not. This was the same situation for all of my co-workers as well. I returned from work at 3:30 on morning to find my card was de activated. There was nobody at the front desk, only a note saying to use the courtesy phone. After repeated attempts on that phone, calling from an outside phone, walking into the back office, laundry and kitchen I finally found the attendant after Thirty Minutes. Her response was I should have yelled louder. Additionally, there was a lot of small trivial stuff that I normally don't pay too much attention to. Things like the black out blinds don't completely close, the AC was very weak and the door didn't seal well so light came in through the cracks. I regularly have to stay in hotels for work, but this was the first time it felt like I was an inconvenience to the staff. With all that said, the ladies who served the reduced continental breakfast were all very friendly and prompt. They were the reason I stayed the twelve days.

One we’re small, bathroom wasn’t that clean, old couch, the bed was comfortable. Front desk told us we didn’t need to reserve a pool time but when we got down there we were turned away.
