Absolutely a beautiful place to walk in all of the seasons. I came here to cross country ski a few days ago, and the ski track has been trampled by walkers, making it almost impossible to ski. So this is a very nice place to walk, but not to ski. For those reading this review, if you are walking PLEASE DO NOT STEP ON THE SKI TRACKS. Thanks!

Such a beautiful day in November -- warm, even hot, winds in rolling, open meadows and deeply wooded valleys. Trees that are huge by prairie parkland norms, including jack pine, birch, poplar, and more. The site is on square mile of land just east of the Devonian gardens that has not been cultivated for decades. There is a program to remove invasive species. Good walking trails except for one wet spot that required a bit of bushwhacking to get around.

Love walks here. Just minutes out of the city and feels like middle of nowhere once you get started. Nice, well marked trails for winter and summer. No dogs allowed, gives you a chance to see wildlife if your lucky, and keeps it clean.

This is a hidden gem a short distance from Edmonton where you can get close to nature on gently groomed trails. There are several trail loops of various lengths to enjoy. These trails are right in the bush and are enjoyable to walk. There is some elevation on the trails to make it interesting. This area is directly east of the University of Alberta Botanical Gardens so you could make it a day of and see lots of nature. There is parking and washrooms available. I definitely recommend this place.

I don't wish to give out the secret of how great this area is. Just need more parking space, and please remember, no dogs.
