Prairie Winds Park

This place is good with alot of potential but not being utilized accordingly. I enjoy going there with kids for tubing after a good snowfall. The hill inside the park creates a very good slide down and it gets very feast. They also freeze the tennis courts to make a skating rink and its free for everyone to enjoy.the also continue to make improvements to the park and pools as well. Definitely worth going to.

This park is Amazing. The adventure park includes two ziplines, a couple types of slides, and all kinds of opportunities to run, climb and jump. It even has a couple giant spinning contraptions that are a lot of fun. There is also a more traditional playground that is top quality. The park includes a unique pool and a splash park. There are many picnic tables as well as bookable picnic shelters. The biggest feature of the park is likely the long meandering pathways that encircle the giant hill (that too is a lot of fun to climb). The pathways are all paved and close to everything else so they are perfect for kids to go for a bike ride or scoot. This park is almost perfect.

Literally the best park in calgary! Theres LOTS of parking and 2 great parks plus the wading pool that's massive. Theres staffed lifeguards and security sitting at the gate (this review was made during the pandemic, security was mainly there to control the amount of people in the pool at one time) The parks are situated in such a way where there's ALWAYS a shaded place to sit. I'm a 25 minute drive away from this park and I gladly take my little one there because I know he'll have a blast

I love this park , the layout of the play grounds , the swimming pool, the chairs for people to sit , rest , relax and to view the park itself , the tables and added a few shades with roof specially the sidewalks was well laid out for walking . Its very convincing , encouraging and very attractive to hold a different celebrations and gatherings among relatives , friends , acquaintances and for different associations or clubs . Exactly ! An excellent park for different recreational activities !! IN ADDITION , THE WASHROOM IS ALWAYS CLEAN AND SAFETY RULES FOR COVID ARE POSTED ACCORDINGLY ! AWESOME!

Lovely park, busy but social distancing being practiced. We went today to check out the wading pool and splash pad. There was a line up in the afternoon when we went but the place looked very clean and up kept. They are only allowing a certain number in at a time, which allows for loads of space to set up. Excited to come back and utilize it in this heat!
