A great place to visit. Wear enclosed toe shoes with good grip soles. This place is awesome but you need to really watch your step. Wash rooms are clean

What a wonderful experience! I wish it was a bit warmer so I could have jumped in. There were some brave souls who were swimming.

Lovely park. Might be difficult to find a parking spot, but don't give up. Parking is around $2.5 for the whole day.

We arrived at 10am and had lots of parking spots to choose from. The new trail signs are very nice and colourful and certainly help people to find their way around. Though it does look like some of the names that the locals have been used to using for quite a few years are evolving to different names. Perhaps the CRD should check with the local community who use the parks to make sure that they're using the correct names on the trails. it could be a hindrance to search and rescue if the locals call for assistance and use a name that they've known the trail to be called for the last twenty or thirty years, and it's not a name that the CRD has now assigned to it.

Walk or bike up to leech town is fun. The old machinery is still there rusting away and its neat to see. The river is really nice to swim in in summer months, feels too cold to stay in for long periods, which is nice. When the water recedes enough there are little sandbars that open up and it feels like you have a private island when you sit in your lawn chair and look downstream. The hike to Peden lake is also great, good fishing up there.
