Swain Moving & Storage Ltd

I had the worst moving/ storage experience with Swain. Steve disputed the cost, I wasn’t allowed to enter my unit since it was “ long term only”, this had not been identified when I got a quote from him. Furniture was damaged, I lost boxes- NO recourse, no discussion. He charged me $200 to move my goods from his storage unit to the dock for a mover to pick up. Disgusting service, Steve was totally ignorant

We had a representative of Swain out at the beginning of May to quote our move. We agreed with the terms and booked them. Half way through the month, we tried to contact Swain to confirm dates/times. Although we called and emailed several times, Swain did not contact us back (at all). On the 20th, I had to start looking for a new mover. Our move was a very large move and out of town. Needless to say, finding a new movers was more than difficult. To this day, we still have not heard a single word from Swain.
