Sam The Roofer

Over the past 9 years of our roof we have had continuous leaks over the years. The issue seems to be the roof vents leak with heavy rain. At first they blamed it on moss and charged me to remove it to fix the problem, after determining it ourselves it was leaking around the vent they came and repaired it which fixed it for a few years. Now 9 years later it seems there are many small failures as when I get up in the attic in very heavy rain there are many drips. Called them last week to fix their work and they never returned the call. I'm going to guess I'm going to be out of pocket to repair the water damage to the ceiling and the cost to fix the roof properly from another company. Buyer beware...

Sam the Roofer replaced our roof which included a 10 year labour warranty. A couple of years later, the roof began to leak-it took 4 visits/repairs over approximately 2 years before the roof stopped leaking. After the 4th repair (which left us with a cracked, peeling, and stained kitchen ceiling) we were told to get it fixed on our own-Sam the Roofer did not offer to arrange the repair. We were told to send them the bill when it was repaired-which we did- (just over 500 dollars) and they said they would only pay half !!! VERY POOR customer service after spending thousands for a new roof!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Long short but long We asked him to advise and repair our carport roof, he recomended a special coating, we took his advice, he installed incorrectly and leaked, he cam to look at it and denied it was leaking, yet their were icicles coming down inside so Hmmm He got the coating all over and damaged the side forcing a repaint, he said its warrantied and then never answered our calls our emails for years, couldnt go his office cause it closed. Saw him out and about recently and he promised to call my spouse to discuss, he then instead proceeds to my house and enters my property without permission. (If he hadent taught me not to trust him then this would be ok but he is not to be trusted) I let it Go and tolled him to email me so I have his correct email, left all contact numbers, he didnt email, didnt call, and now voicemail is full and he pretends he cant hear us when he accidentally picks up. This will now be bbb and court as he is not making any effort to hold accountable for his shotty work. He tries to blame things on seagulls (if this were true, and im not the expert, hence why I trusted him lol why would you recomend product near the ocean that seagulls like to peck. He also blamed his past partner, and makes many promises then ignores it Do not trust this man or his work

This company came to my rescue in a big way! Michael Magdalenich from M&M roofing gave me an estimate promised to start and 3 months latter nothing! The rain and the wind came and I lost more shingles off my roof. I have no idea why MM was a no show with no calls or nothing but Sam the roofer came in time for me to have a new roof for the winter at the same price MM quoted but with a 50 year shingle not a 30 year. This job was done in only 2 days. I always say, "I never met a Sam I didn't like." Thanks guys for doing a fast and efficient, affordable job. I highly recommend them.
