Buntzen Lake Recreation Area

We did the hike with an Explorer Stroller and a two year old.

Before visiting here I'm wondering why around 5000 review for this place. But after visiting I realized why. Great place. They have nice beach. We did hiking around the lake which is around 10km round trip. Also the path is one way. Though it is a easy hike, after suspension bridge the trail is bit harder. It took us around 3 hours to complete the hike, took lots of pictures.

Amazing walk, 10km around the lake, good hiking with different terrain. Beautiful beach and view. Good area for picnic, a lot of space for social distance, bathrooms available. The water is not cold in summer and you can swim. Good place to do paddle boarding. 3 sections for parking next to the park and dog park. 100% recommended!!!

A lovely spot to visit with a large fenced off leash area for your dog to run around! Dress warm for this time of year if you plan on hiking the trails. And because of Covid-19, the trails are one way only!

Perfect place for hiking, boating, canoeing. Beautiful lake Surrounded with mountains and lush green forest. Few minutes drive from Port Moody. Picnic tables and Rest rooms are also available.
