Tonight I went in for a few items. I couldn’t find one so I said I excuse me to an employee. Although she was looking right at me she turned away and went around the corner. So I proceeded to the cash. I walked 1/2 way down the isle and I hear excuse me!!! Excuse me!!!!! Very loudly. As this employee was so rude to me I chose to ignore her. Then she started following me closely yelling even louder. Mind you there is a strict 6 feet distance policy. I get to the cash and she opens another cash. She says if you have credit or debit you can come here. I chose to again ignore her because of her strange attitude and aggressiveness. She then said excuse me I’m talking to you! I said that’s fine I’m ok here. She said ok I guess you don’t have credit or debit. I then asked to speak to a manager and I was told she was the manager. I told her she’s extremely unprofessional and she should stop harassing people and she started yelling at me that I’m banned and followed me outside so I couldn’t leave and continued to yell. She was clearly under the influence. This was by far the worst and most unprofessional experience I’ve had at any business.

I have always loved shopping here as the food sold here are always fresh and the place is clean. Recently, because of the COVID-19, the management & employees have been going the extra mile not only to provide enough social distancing and sanitization wipes for carts, the cashiers wear face masks or mouth guards, clean the conveyor belt and payment machine after every customer as well. Thank you for setting a high standard on food and public safety.

This iga is so great! They have great selection, good produce and helpful customer service.

My mom was a volunteer for the Special Olympics looking for food donations for an upcoming event. She waited 30 min for a manger who said they would not donate or help out in anyway. She proceeded to go to the Port Moody location at the bottom of the hill where she was happily given a huge food platter. I have stopped going to plateau location.
