Dr Holly and the team at Pacific Rim are exceptional at what they do! Whether the issues are minor or major amongst my cats and dog... I have every confidence in the treatment recommendations and care they all receive. My dog is a lot of "work" and particular about who her people are and she LOVES going to see Dr Holly! Can't recommend or say enough great things about them!

I came to the office today to get my pup checked out as he seemed to be in distress. The receptionist said they could squeeze me in between two appointments. I brought him down, but soon realized soon he appeared to be fine. The vet assistant agreed. I thought about just going home but figured a check-up wouldn't hurt. The doctor took him in and came back out and found nothing. She then proceeded to give me the advice that a raw food diet is very unhealthy for dogs and grain is very important for them. I was grateful to hear her perspective and told her that. They then brought me the bill of nearly $300. I was given no indication they would be charging me for an "emergency check up", at a regular vet. I never would have followed through with the appointment if I had known this. It's my hunch that they wanted to make a quick buck off me. To make matters worse, I called in to give them a chance to rectify the situation and the office manager told me that I had set the schedule back and she wouldn't be refunding me the emergency fee. She then proceeded to tell me that the veterinarian told her that I "wanted nothing to do with the advice you were given." I have no idea what this has to do with the spurious fee I was charged. That being said, all I did was listen intently to the vet and said "I appreciate your perspective, thank you". I also said "I don't want to feed my dog a food with fillers in in", when she was pushing me to put him on the Royal Canin diet (that they sell). So not only was I ripped off, the doctor made assumptions about me and was incredibly rude. This place is terrible. You've been warned!

We are very happy with the advice we receive and the treatment of Joey every time we visit. The staff is professional and kind and so friendly.

My daughter brought her rat here, took good care of him.. a little pricey, but maybe because its a small animal..all in all good service
