Beautiful heritage building!!! Love that it was in the movie Roxanne!!
We were staying at a local resort on the waterfront and when checking out we found the elevator was not working. A staff member had been stuck inside for 15 minutes. We were travelling with our 88 year old mother who can not do stairs and we were on the second floor. The resort staff were awsome and we asked them to contact the fire department for assistance. With in a short time Martin from the fire department was there and assisted my mom down the flight of stairs. Mom said she was so grateful as she felt very safe thanks to Martin. So Martin thanks so much for giving up time on a Sunday to assist us. We are very grateful for your service. You were not fighting a fire but you certain helped oit my mom and she smiled the rest of the day. Another road trip adventure for her. And a story to tell the ladies at the assisted living home.
