Nelson Civic Theatre

Nelson’s local movie theatre, recently renovated and has one of the best sound systems I’ve ever experienced. The staff are very friendly and appreciative. I like to go here anytime they show a movie I want to see, even if I’ve seen it already!

Great place smaller than most movie theatres as they only have space to play one movie at a time, but it's perfect for Nelson

Love the civic. It's still got old time theatre charm but plays modern movies mixed with arthouse stuff. More screens will really help them but as a non profit society, they're a great Nelson institution.
